Both the filter and the macro swing on and off, giving users ultimate versatility. The whole unit mounts securely to GoPro’s waterproof housing.
The 2.2X macro lens offers great magnification and macro effect. By reducing the camera’s focal point, users are now able to capture sharp images as close as three inches away from the lens, underwater. The Switchblade enables divers to capture completely new perspectives with their Hero 3 and Hero 3+, and the ability to capture detailed close-ups.
The Ultimate 3 in 1 GoPro Dive combo. The red filter and the macro lens both swing out of the way allowing the user to film with: Only the Red Filter, Only the Macro Lens, Both the Red and Macro lens, or no filter and no lens. All of this while the unit is still attached to the camera.

The Aqua3+ Magenta Filter for the GoPro Hero3+ is our newest and most effective color correction formula yet. We have take all the data inputs from previous magenta filters and improved upon them even further. We bulked up the frame on the new Aqua series as well as over molded the glass for even more strength. The Aqua magenta filter color corrects flawlessly in green water from 8 to 65 feet deep.
The filter will securely slide onto the Hero3+ waterproof housing and can be installed and removed in less than a second. The pressure fit is very snug but just in case a tether is included.
We had a chance to test the new filter down in San Diego on a day when the water was very green. The new magenta formula makes a huge difference in any green water, whether is be fresh water or salt water.
Why Do You Need a Magenta Filter?
When diving red light loss causes the cameras white balance to freak out. When diving in green water, when the color red is taken out of the spectrum, the only color left is green! The leaves for some horrible looking lime green footage. Simply throw our magenta filter on there and it reduces excess green colors leaving behind naturally balanced colors. The new Aqua Red filter produces deep blue hues and vibrant tropical reef colors which pop right off the screen. The Aqua red color corrects flawlessly in Tropical and Blue waters from 10 to 80 feet.
The New Aqua3+ Red Filter also got a structural makeover by adding more protection to the glass lens, making it much more durable. The filter will securely slide onto the Hero3+ waterproof housing and can be installed and removed in less than a second. The pressure fit is very snug but just in case a tether is included.

Why Do You Need a Red Filter?
The point of a red filter is to compensate for red light loss which takes place under water. The reason being at about 10 feet there is no red light. The GoPro Hero3+’s white balance is thrown off because of the red light loss causing the camera to record colors which are too blue or too green. A red filter compensates for the red light loss tricking the camera into recording natural colors the way you see them.

This all new macro lens for the GoPro Hero3+ is the perfect accessory for adding close up magnified shots to your GoPro Videos. This is our newest version which features a glass lens which provides even more magnification power than before. This new glass lens is also much more durable and scratch resistant than its predecessor.
This creative macro provides 2.2x magnification allowing you to capture super creative close ups like never before possible with the GoPro Hero3 Plus camera. We use the macro lens quite often to capture small details, for example we just filmed a car segment. The macro shots of the engine and wheels were the coolest shots in the entire movie. The GoPro Hero3+ is great at capturing wide angle shots, this macro lens accessory adds insane tight closeups to the mix, making it in our opinion, the sickest camera on the market.
The focal range with the macro on is from 2 to 18 inches, this means anything from 2 to 18 inches in front of the lens will be in razor sharp focus (currently the Hero3+ will only focus down to about 12 inches). Check out the video below and see exactly what this accessory can do.
