FUJIFILM released their stylish, premium compact camera, the Fujifilm X30, available in black and silver with an innovative Real Time Viewfinder that surpasses the Optical Viewfinder found in the Fujifilm X20.
1) Real Time Viewfinder
With the new 2.36M-dot organic EL electronic viewfinder, it has a magnification if 0.65x and a display lag time of 0.005secs, which offers a clear, high definition Live View with 100% coverage.
2) Manual zoom and control ring, two dials, six function buttons and a tilting LCD
A new control ring positioned behind the manual zoom control allows the immediate change of aperture settings and shutter speed while fine-tuning composition. Functions such as ISO sensitivity, film simulation, white balance and continuous shooting can be assigned by pushing the control ring setting button at the front. Two top-plate dials and six function buttons positioned on the back of the body also offer faster access to regularly-used features for a more instinctive operation. The 3.0-inch 920K-dot premium clear LCD monitor can be tilted more than 90 degrees upward and 45 degrees downward; hence shooting can be enjoyed with less restriction.
3) Long lasting battery and built in Wifi
The Fujifilm NP-95 battery has a capacity approximately 1.8times greater than the past models, enabling around 470 photos shot in one charge, as compared to the past 270 photos. The supplied micro USB cable allows the camera to be charged anytime and anywhere without a battery charger, and the new enhanced wireless function allows users to remotely shoot images from smartphones and tablets with the free Fujifilm Camera Remote application.
5) Film Simulations
With 80 years of expertise in film development, Fujifilm is passionate about color, and the result can be clearly seen in the FUJIFILM X30's evolved Film Simulation settings. The Fujifilm X30 features the new “Classic Chrome” film simulation mode, which delivers muted tones and deep color reproduction.
